Blind Date...Should I Quit???

My cousins, Logan and Sydney were so kind to set me up on a blind date last night. Needless to say, he's not "the one". Dinner was nice and I got a FREE MEAL, which I will definitely recommend the shrimp at Applebees - very tasty...sadly that was the only tasty thing that entire two hours (besides Logan and Sydney's company)!!! Now this is funny, but just as we are picking him up Sydney turns around and tells me that he is not very attractive, I was like Thanks. I want everyone to know that I did try to act interested, be friendly etc. but HE DIDN'T EVEN ACT LIKE HE WAS TRYING! I tried to talk to him, to ask him questions, be friendly, and in return I got nothing...maybe an occasional head nod to at least let me know he was some what paying attention to me! The only conversation that went on that whole two hours was between him and Logan. Which was fine with me after I realized that this wasn't going to go anywhere I sat back and enjoyed my very fine and tasty shrimp. Logan and Sydney, thanks for "setting me up" and if you have someone else in store, well...what the heck I'll do it again!

Get Ready Alaska...Cause I'm Coming BACK!

I just applied online for another summer in Alaska - and today I recieved an email back from them telling me they were excited to see that I reapplied, and that they'll be in touch with me after the holidays. YEAH BUDDY! Alaska here I come...Hope you're ready for me again!!!

I'm DONE!!!

As you all know I have been so "busy" reading those Twilight books this past week...I don't know if I should admit this but I finished yesterday at 4:30pm - took six days to read all three. I think I could've finished on Monday but Summer called me and made me go to the gym. PEOPLE - these books are so good, and I just don't know if I can wait until August to find out what happens next. It is however, so nice to be finished with those books they were taking up all my time and thought...Why can't the scriptures be like that?!?! Well Folks, it's back to normal life, and frankly I think I'm glad to be back! I'm finally getting things done around the place and with the Holidays.

I'm in LOVE with a Vampire

Over the summer I saw everyone reading this book, "Twilight". I didn't think much of it, but later when I returned back to Utah I heard more people talking about this book, one in particular my mom. She loves to read, and had read all these books. She told me that I needed to read them but that I had to wait until the semester was over because she said I wouldn't get anything accomplished. OH MY GOSH!!! Yesterday I began reading the first book in the series and didn't do a darn thing except read all day long. I never changed out of my pajamas, I had my phone on silence for most of the day, and I almost forgot to eat! I dang near finished the book but at 11:30pm my head was throbbing and I decided to put the book down with a little less than a hundred pages left! I need to find me an Edward, WOW - he is...I have no words, he just makes my heart beat so fast...OKAY, okay, I know I sound so lame, but if you haven't read this book pick it up and get lost it in. I don't know if I'll be able to start the other books because I guarantee I won't be getting anything accomplished if I do!!! If anyone knows of a single, attractive Vampire give them my number!!! ;).

My Tree, oh My Tree

Here is my tree - I want one and all to know that this tree was found at a YARD SALE for only the large amount of $7.00. It has been a great little tree - it's going on it's third Christmas and is even being held up by duct tape and a large brick...thank goodness for tree skirts!

It Happened....

Today in class I had to give a presentation...let me go back to the begining of the week first??? I have literally lost my mind, and I think I need to be put in an mental institution...I know some of you might think that I should've been in one a long, long time ago. Well, it's finally time! I keep forgetting things, and doing things that just aren't right?!?! One key thing that I forgot today besides the fact that I couldn't remember where I parked and wondered around the parking lot for about ten minutes until I finally found my car!!! It's not even a VERY BIG parking lot!!! SERIOUSLY...so to top it off today - I - who always, always remembers to turn their phone to silence totally spaced it and forgot that I even had my phone...until I'm in the middle of class and I'm giving my presentation to all the students and teacher when my beloved cell phone started playing "Last Christmas" by Wham! At first I tried to ignore it, but then everyone started looking around the room waiting for the person to turn the phone off...it wasn't happening! Finally, I broke the looks and said, "I'm so so SORRY - that's my phone???" Then I proceded to explain that I've never ever had this happen to me before and I am so good to always turn my phone off or silence it when I come to class. They really didn't care, and were just like - it happens, continue your presentation. As I continue on there comes another ring and my teacher pipes up and say's, "Sounds like they left you a message?" REALLY!!! How embarrassing?!?! Please make sure you turn your cell phones off!!!
