Living in Utah Halloween came early. It was celebrated on Saturday, the 30th of October instead of today, like the rest of the world. It has been years since I have actually dressed up and participated in the Halloween Festivities. I got invited to a Halloween Party on Saturday, and kind of had decided to make a costume that I had seen on a craft blog somewhere. When it came down to making it I really didn't want to actually make something, BUT I'm glad I did. I went as a Rubix Cube. Totally Awesome Yo! It took about two hours of my Saturday morning to construct the thing, and sadly, it only got worn for about 10 minutes. It was a great 10 minutes. The party was a lot of fun, and it was great to actually get out and do something on this scary night. Some of my favorite costumes were, Lisa's (Box of Tissue), one came as grapes (had purple balloons stuck to her), and two girls were Lego's. Gosh, I thought I was clever - nope.
Before the party began we had several goblins show up for candy. The two cutest goblins were Trace and Peyton York. Trace was a Pirate, RRRRRRRRR, and Peyton a little Kitty, Meow. So CUTE!!!HaPpY HaLLoWeEn!!!

Next time you do a Rubick's Cube costume (cute, by the way!), do it with all the colors mixed-up. I think it lends itself more to the "mystery of a woman" and may serve to further your cause... you know- the unsolved puzzle, etc., etc...
No need to thank me- I do what I can- I'm pullin' for ya! ;)
Oh my gosh! Trace and Peyton are so freaking cute! I wish that I could have seen them. I just want to squeeze them both they're so darn cute! Sounds like there were some really creative costumes.
Love the rubix cube!
I wish I had thought about Trace... I totally have a pirate costume just his size:(
I think it is an awesome costume. It is definitely more creative than anything I've ever done. I agree--do it mixed up next time. That would be nice and confusing!
So I want to use that rubix cube next year. So cute.
Love the kids outfits..
Nice leggings, was that to make it look more authentic, dressing like someone from the 80s?
Man, I haven't looked at your blog for a while. And of course I do and there is a big fat picture of me. Ahhh! We were creative!
Awwwwwww some of the cutest goblins I have ever seen!!! And your costume was pretty good. It definitely topped the purple wig and bright lipstick!!!!!
look at you miss crafty! i love the rubix cube! glad you had fun.
Nice Libby! Way to dress up... I didn't. I like it a lot! :) You've inspired me for next year???!! Haha!
Woah! I wonder why I never thought about a Rubik’s cube. This is a very different and a unique outfit. I would love to buy it for myself. This year we are celebrating in one of the outdoor venues in Chicago. My mom will be baking bat shaped cookies and cupcakes for the night.
